Sara Samy is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She brings a calm, grounded, and humanistic presence to each session. Sara works with individuals aged sixteen and older. She provides one on one therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma and post traumatic stress, postpartum challenges, grief and loss, life transitions, cultural and identity concerns, intergenerational and relationship stress, eating related difficulties, and self esteem struggles.
Her approach is person centered and culturally responsive. She integrates Emotion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems informed strategies, inner child focused interventions, mindfulness practices, somatic awareness techniques, and trauma informed care. Sessions emphasize emotional safety, empathy, and the development of practical coping skills that you can apply in daily life.
Sara values collaboration and transparency. You actively participate in shaping your treatment goals and reviewing progress. Therapy supports emotional regulation, effective communication, and healthy boundary setting. When addressing trauma, she follows a gradual and carefully paced process to ensure stability and comfort while exploring difficult experiences.
