I also integrate Narrative Therapy into my practice. The stories you carry about yourself and your experiences shape your identity and sense of possibility. By exploring and reframing these narratives, especially in the context of trauma, you can develop a stronger sense of control, resilience, and empowerment.
Mindfulness-based strategies are another important part of my work. These approaches help you build present-moment awareness and self-acceptance. By strengthening emotional regulation and reducing reactivity, mindfulness creates space for clearer thinking and more balanced responses to life’s challenges.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Guelph. My academic training provided a strong foundation in mental health theory and evidence-based practice. During my clinical development, I worked with diverse populations facing a wide range of concerns, which reinforced my commitment to individualized and holistic care.
